Guys does anyone out there have a accurate colour count of remaining Hemi Birds, heard there is aprox. 83 H
Birds out there, appears orange( V2 ) would be highest number with maybe Lime Light on the other end?

Sounds like you guys have a few cool cars in the neighbourhood or see a few over your time, for me the B5 Hemi
bird would be high on the wish list so I was trying to get a feel for how many actually exist.  Seems like you see a few Orange H Birds, few White H Birds, but limited other colours.

Bill Wieman sold a B5 Hemi Bird at Barrett- Jackson a few years ago along with a Hemi Daytona. Bird was a 4 speed with a white interior. It may have been a survivor car. A yellow one was on ebay just a month ago or so. I think it was in Texas. Needed resto. Anotol Vasiliev had a white 4 speed about 10 years ago for sale. I went and looked at it. Said he bought it from a farmer who had it sitting in the barnyard and the cows would bump up against it. I wonder if they were Holsteins. They would blend in with the car's colors.

To try  and put some numbers to the H Birds still out there base on colours I pull some numbers of Brennan Cooks site, which he says is based on a educated guess, when he was working up his numbers he included 999 (Petty Blue), if a person had a Petty Blue Hemi Bird would be a rare one but understand they were never build so I took them of the list, so numbers came up with are as follows:

                               A            4spd       Interiors ??

Lemon Twist FY1        11           12
White          EW1        8             9
Tor-Red        V2         8             7
Vitamin C     K2          8             7
Blue Fire      B5          7             6
Lime Light   FJ5          5             4

   Total                     47            45

Overall number is little high as think approx 83 are still around. If any one knows how to sneak into Galen data banks we could get little more accurate

Not sure where it is now, but during one of my military TDY's to Kelly AFB in San Antonio back in '88, while I was cruising around the older part of town outside the base, I stumbled across an original B5 Hemi Superbird with black interior. I want to say it was a console auto car...

Oh, it had a black vinyl roof..........   :smilielol:

Moparstuart just noticed your home base is Overland Ks , maybe you can help me out with a little local history, back in my high school days Mopar muscle cars were restricted to a truck, the good old 1978 Little Red Express, I could not afford one new off the lot so I bought a write off (fire damage) and polished it back to new and had my fun with it. Had to sell it and do the  responsible thing for a little while, so just couple years ago went on a hunt to find another, and turns out one I bought was from Frank,  owner of the local Dodge Dealership. Its a great truck that is all original with 19,000mi and put a smile on my face and short trip back in time each time I take it for a run. If you know anything about it would appreciate the info.
