Hey guys,

Thought I'd share this with you.  I call a guy about an 8 3/4" yesterday and after some decided I told him I wasn't interested in it while still on the phone.  He then says to me "well, if you like Mopars, my sister has a Challenger that she wants to sell"  I say to him, "oh, how much does she want for it?"

Get this. $1,500.

I almost leapt out of my chair.  I had to go to class an hour later, but I called her up to come check out the car before class.

When I went and looked at it I decided it was the car for me.  Did some scrounging for money after class, and this followed me home:

I plan on keeping this car, as I have wanted one since I was a kid.  Never thought I'd find one this cheap.  Plans are to get it running and drive as-is for a while. I'll have more pictures as the car progresses.

Can't beat that.   318 car or 340? :2thumbs:

Judging from the flat hood and convetional gas cap, I'd say 318, although it could have been swapped over the years. Sure sits low.

Amazing deal!  Did it come with a title?

Yes, car has a title and everything.  Got the car running on starter fluid a bit earlier.  I have to make another fusible link for it as the one in it is toast, luckily we've got some link wire at the shop.  I'll post a video when it's running on its own.

Frame looks perfect.  Looks like the only rust is in the bottom of the quarters behind the wheel well.  :2thumbs:

Wish I'd find a steal like that just once. Cool!  :2thumbs:

I picked up a (mostly) rust free 68 Mustang Fastback from a co-worker for $1,000  and promptly sold it for 8g's in two weeks. Thanks fORd....
