Flickering message box when quoting

Am I on my own here or has anyone else experienced flickering in the message box when quoting someone. Occassionally it flickers so much that I can't see what I'm writing (it disappears from view) and I have to keep scrolling down to take a look.   Why does this happen?  It's driving me nuts!

no flicker here check your screen refresh rate.

Pardon my ignorance but what has the refresh button got to do with the forum message box?

Yeah happens when there's so much quoted text already that it won't fit in the viewable area.
I like to edit some of the text to make more room for me to see what I'm typing.

Sorry mate, so was I. I just forgot to add this  critter at the end.
I was actually having a bit of a laugh as I was writing it.

Try clicking the Compatability View button on Internet Explorer.....fixed it for me...

yeah get it all the time  , drives me nutts also , especially with my typing , i'm always hitting the wrong letters & typing words twice or leaving them out altogether     i constantly keep having to re read what i'm writing
don't know if there is a way to sort this  , but when it comes to computers i ride the

Gee thanks maxwellwedge, I just tried it and then quoted someone and it seems to have worked. No flickering.

Ok. Good news.......... I've been quoting all day and guess what............no more flickering.
