I have always tried to problem solve and fix before replacing. This time it worked, I found the problems on both of my non working clock's from my chargers. The first had a bent needle preventing the cog from moving, the second had dirty contacts and took some slick 50 spray lube to both of them. Both are holding time and working like a charm. Now if my radiator core on my a/c car would be that easy of a fix. Saved about $160 in replacement clocks

 I bought a repro tic tock tach from charger specialties and the clock stopped working.  less than one year.  Money well spent
