thankyou xs29j8bullitt  when i was much younger i would see that car behind channel 2 news off 59,now i understand why the owner built a bird house on the bird, at that time to most it was just an old funky mopar but to me it made me sad, now its a different story to understand that the owner really loved these cars & got to ride in it , looking at this story we have it very good,i hope the owner had many good rides in one of the coolest cars built

I saw  the car on I-10 several times before I decided to make a U-Turn through the ditch and give chase with my  Dad's 6 cyl granny 4 speed GMC pickup.  I had to run the GMC flat-out for quite a while to catch the 'Bird which was cruising at 75-80 mph.  I took the first picture through the windshield of the GMC in case the 'Bird engaged "warp drive" when I tried to flag it down...  He used to make frequent trips to the San Antonio area, including to Wurst Fest in New Braunfels.  I am surprised that I have never seen any other photos of the car...
