What winter plans are in store for your Charger??

My interior's coming out...  I can't stand my seats, so I'm swapping them. New carpet. Dynamatting the rest of the interior (never finished) and a new dash pad...

Not that I'm hoping Winter comes any faster or lasts any longer, but I'll make the best of it.

I'm going to do a seat belt restoration, swap out both bumpers for new ones and put a high volume carter fuel pump on with a new fuel line, and maybe a carb rebuild. should keep me plenty busy for the next few months.

Swap from power to manual steering ,M1 intake manifold (single plane) ,new valves and springs ,hopefully a fiberglass hood with a hemi dart style scoop (aar quality fiberglass). We are working lots of overtime these days so  now is the time to get some stuff done with my car.

What is your plan to remove the dash pad? pull the dash or try with just removing the cluster?

My plans for the next few months are I'm sending my gauges out to get a voltmeter conversion in about 2 weeks. replace a bunch of the exterior trim. New TTI headers and exhaust in February and hopefully a hydroboost unit around the same time. Also been debating about a new billet specialties steering wheel?

What is your plan to remove the dash pad? pull the dash or try with just removing the cluster? 

My buddy made a tool that reaches the speed nuts that aren't so easy to reach.. Not that it'll make the job easier, but one thing to remember is I have all updated wiring and the underside of my dash is vent-free making things a bit easier to reach...

So, no dash removal... He's done several of them this way, so his assistance is key

My plan is to try to drive mine. I am finishing up a suspension rebuild and need to button up couple of things, drop and see how she sits and hopefully if I mangage to do everything correctly take it to an alignment shop. So I can drive it. I only have about 5 mile on the motor so haven't been able to enjoy it just yet

I will have the seats out to tighten the window regulators and install stereo upgrades behind the rear. I also have to pull the trans and see what's leaking around the clutch.

I'm going to drive it--Texas allows me drive year round.
I'd like to do a disc brake upgrade but other financial priorities are in the way.

Where to start, been collecting front end parts for years. John on for A-bodies only is sending out a lower rad. & front end stiffing kit he stated bending up for B-bodies. But then again have to get the steel gate done for my bother in-law first, & this and that. I need 48 hours in a day, unlimited funds & 20 people to help  . Like that is going to happen.

  Out of things to do or out of money to do it with? 

I plan on repairing or replacing my front speaker.  Whenever the bass hits, either its too close to the dash and the speaker hits it or I blew out the cone cause it sounds like crap when there is any kind of bass.  Also, I think my car is telling me I need to go on a diet cause I think I broke a seat spring in the driver side seat bottom cause I hear (and feel) a popping noise certain ways I sit in the seat.  So, driver seat is coming out to get deskinned and evaluated.  Im sure there is other stuff but I can't think of it now.

For the '68: Eddy heads, Stage 2 Steer-n-Gear steering box, front manual disc conversion, new plug wires & hoses. Almost finished with these.

For the '69: Getting rid of the underdash aftermarket A/C vents, modifying the dash for stock vents & swapping the center pad, & routing the aftermarket hoses to work with the original stock A/C vents. Got the center done, just have to do the lower ends. If I have time I have an electric trunk release I also want to install.

For the '70: Just resting. However, I have some projects planned for it in the spring.

mine? linelocks install,hoosier slicks(to run all season,or as long as they last) couple a more gauges(vacuum,for nice 6pak dail in) and find the best seat location for my wife,cuz she wants to drive and do a burn out,she says she can,sooo with my buddys help we should have video of my wife learning to do burn outs,ohhh i do want to upgarade to eddy heads,but that may be out of reach,gonna depend on the secret tucky

It's gonna sit in its AirChamber all winter long. Was supposed to have the inside trunk painted, but I still don't care enough to have it done.  Otherwise the car has been great and is as done as it's ever gonna be.

Graduate December 17 with my BA in Business Management. Hopefully if everything goes good my plans will include pulling my numbers matching 383 and putting a fun 450-500hp 440 in the car
