I like the looks of stock front spoilers on 3rd gens.  But I like the 2nd gen spoiler even better because it doesn't come all the way out to the sides.  Has anyone ever mocked one up to fit on a 3rd gen?  Or pics of any custom front spoilers on 3rd gens would be appreciated.

Looks like I'll be the first one to try.  I'll let you know if it turns out.

like this?

Yes, like that.  But less NASCAR style.  I'm not sure that would look good on a basic street model.

Lot of guys are putting 69 Camaro front spoilers on their cars and they look pretty darn good.  Angry Mike with his 68 was the first one I've seen.  You can get them on Ebay all day long for $50 including shipping.  They also mount to the existing valance holes.

I've seen them on plenty of 2nd gens.  I'm looking to see how they go with 3rd gens.

any tips on how to post pics? everytime i try to post them it says they are too large. need some technical assistance please

Fred

There are many options but the easiest surefire way is to email the pics to yourself first. (XP resizes pics for you automatically and windows 7 comes with an option) that way the pics you want to post will never be too big.
Good Luck.

yes its the 69 camaro abs repro. theres a national parts depot close by so i picked it up for $40. lined it up with the front plate holder mounting holes. they dont match the spoilers holes but a goot place to start. had to drill 6 holes in my valence but its not perfect so i wasnt worried.

Thanks for posting.    That's exactly what I was wondering.  Would you mind posting one more pic?  I'd like to see it with the whole car from the angle of the second picture.  Trying to get  a feel of how it flows with everything.

Do you have any close-ups of the install?
I would like to see how closely it fits :)

no prob chargd. doctor i wont be able to take any pics for a few weeks. i can tell you that when you mount it the middle is flush but the sides are 1" below the valence. however when installing the 2 outer bolts on each side it sucks it right up flush and being abs it is that flexible. ill post more close ups as soon as i can so it makes more sense.
