First off thanks to the search engine I might have solved my problem...

I saw another thread with DMT specd out for some gaskets and turns out they have the ones I'm after:

http://shop.detroitmuscletechnologies.com/product.sc?categoryId=19&productId=20

However, I am only in need of the tail light housing to tail panel gasket (not the actual lens to housing gasket).  Does anyone know of a source that sells just the housing to tail panel gasket?  I know of a few places that sell the lens gasket, but not the housing-tail panel one.

Furthermore, has anyone installed this gasket on their Charger?  I'm assuming the reports will be good based on what I've seen, but just wanted to double check...

Thanks in advance!

Did you call DMT? I bet they will sell you the gaskets you need seperatly. They are good people to deal with.

Have not called them actually...I've been getting off work to late to really swing anything, best I can muster is to post on the boards, lol.

I know the price isn't crazy, and replacing the other gasket wouldn't hurt, nor would having it handy for a just in case...Plus, I got to check the site again now that I am home for the night and they have park light lens gaskets for a-bodies  :2thumbs:

Are there gaskets as good as everyone says?  I'm hoping so, because as soon as I get the time I believe I have an order to place!

Ask for a trackable shipping when you buy parts there......

Bought for + 250 bucks of gaskets there, never got anything, after complaining he said he would ship another package... Never got anything...again...
He said the goods were shipped out without shipment tracking so not traceable
Aftr more mailing back and forth he just stopped replying to me, never got a refund either......Still pisses me off when I think about it. :RantExplode:

I'd rather pay my gaskets 3 times the price than what he sells them for than to ever do buisiness with him again.....

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

Wow, didn't think I'd hear that based on what all I'd read about him...but glad I did.  Pretty long drive to Detroit to straighten things out; that is how I prefer to work when things go sour-in person.
Has anyone else had trouble like this?  I know I'd be looking at around $40, but that is alot of money to me, especially if it is risky...

Maybe more importantly, is there any other source for the housing to tail panel gasket that produces a high quality product which is also not over priced (Yes, I want it all  :icon_smile_big:)

I just placed two different orders through Detroit Muscle and they were awesome to deal with.  I got my parts within two days.  I had originally purchased the paint seal kit through YO and it didn't have everything that I needed, so I called DMT.  They said no problem to selling me individual gaskets.  I would 100% order from them again, the service was great and the parts were too.   :2thumbs:

Thanks for the feedback...Good to hear another positive story.  I still haven't sourced another place for the gasket I'm after, so I may wind up ordering regardless...Hopefully I'll have a good experience as well as most seem to...Then again not much is going right lately  :icon_smile_blackeye:  Maybe I'll get lucky here  :icon_smile_big:

Found this old link and sent this email to this poster......

Just found an old post where you said you never received your gaskets even though I shipped a couple times.

I'd like to clear this up if it hadn't been. I'm not in the business of ripping people off BUT I also don't control the postal system around the world. I've had a few other situations mailing to Europe where after shipping 2 pacakges I gave up and refunded the $ (AND was out the money, gaskets and shipping costs). Problem there is the post office insurance NEVER pays. Especially since I usually try to help the customer by lowering the price on the paperwork.

Shoot me a copy of our last correspondence and how much I owe you.

PS I CAN always ship UPS or FedEx or DHL but it's VERY expensive then they hit you with brokerage fees on your end of at least $35. Most everyone says to NOT send UPS because of this. The US Postal DOES have tracking on international shipments but its nearly worthless.
