I was there.   I was only 8 years old then...wow.   I remember that trip very well.     Richard Richardson drove out with us in his crazy stripped Daytona.     We came out when my car was painted in the Coke/Allison Daytona scheme.   
Caution.... Low flying aircraft.

I have the 16mm film that Chrysler took of the meet--they mailed it to dad.  The film box is Corporation Blue!

I loaned the film to John Pappas at Five Star Video to transfer it to DVD in exchange for one of the copies.  Lots of familiar vehicles in those old films...
