One of your favorite old songs is used as background music for a DEPENDS commercial.  I heard 'Green Onions' by Booker T and the MGs playing on the TV and when I looked up, it was a DEPENDS commercial!!!!! :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:  I guess I'm just done......

I'm pretty nauseated by how much T-Rex's "20th Century Boy" is getting used in commercials (and those stupid ESPN Terrible Towel promos). Not MY generation per se, but I love T-Rex. Marc Bolan must be rolling over in his grave.

I'm "only" 42 but it really burns my ass when AC/DC and THE WHO are background for TV commercials.  The worst insult is that dorky family butchering Crazy Train.  When I was in 7th grade, most adults generally considered you devil worshiper if you listened to this stuff

Apart from being used on the CSI shows I don't recall hearing any Who in commercials.  Last one I heard was See Me Feel Me and that was in a car commercial a very long time ago.  Oh and some popsicle commercial in the mid ninetees.

AC/DC I seem to hear more. 

What burns me just as much is the lame covers like Limp bizkit(sp) doing Behind Blue Eyes.

Driving yesterday i was surfing channels and Def Leppard was on so i cranked it up, at the end of the song the radio station was KOOL 108, the oldies station!   :o

No, the only commercial that drives me nuts,.......that damn Jenny Craig commercial, with the chick singing, "Sun in the sky..........................................................................................you know how if feeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
