I believe I ran across that 68 Hemi Charger in the early 90's. I seem to remember the original owner still had it at the time and he and his boy were going to restore it. Missing the Hemi then or at least it wasen't in the car at the time I saw it. Body was not to bad of shape for a southern Wisconsin car and I do remember it was a real Hemi car for sure. He wouldn't part with it at the time and I never pursued it any further. Looks like someone must have gotten it as I don't remember him having any other cars or parts. I'd bet its the same car though as the year, color combination, engine code, transmission and location all jive. Met the guy at a swap meet and he let me swing by and take a look at it on the way home. I figured it was still alive as most rare cars that survived until the 90's were preserved. But I just always wondered what ever happened to it. As one would expect the stuff that gets found these days has really been out there all along. Tucked away long ago by someone who appreciates them and remembered by those of us that stumbled across them in the past. Occasionally they are revisited so to speak.

It is indeed in Southern Wisconsin. 

Glad you guys like the expeditions. 

Hopefully this coming spring there will be more.  But after this large adventure there will be a lull til things start up again.
