Well, I finally got some pictures of my QQ1 Blue, 1968 Charger, 383ci, 727 on the column. All original, has all original body panels, never rusted out, garaged all its life, complete service history from 1968. One amazing car. I just drove it 1000km north in 1 day, just stopped to fuel and continued, never had any issues with it. Drove like a brand new car even in the 30 degree C heat.  :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big:

Fantastic looking car G-Man, be proud.  The lighter coloured cars just show up the profiles and crisp styling so well.

Was'nt from an Ohio dealership was it??, saw one on the net a while back, orig as, low miles and I think it looked pretty close to yours but the ad vanished after 2 days...

C'mon, a few more pics for the masses mate  :drool5:

68's mmm

:edit. Nope, went through the pics and this car had black vinyl top, console  and 26k miles , just was wondering if it ever turned up again , thought it was yours at first glance

Looks familiar, but not original.  I installed legendary interior.  All upper dash pads were done by just dashes ( at some expense).  I miss that car a great deal but it was in the 70s today and had the daytona that caused the sale of the 68, out for a spin, and I have to say I love that Daytona clone more than I did the 68. Congrats George, I hope you can enjoy it a bit before you sell it.  I sure did!

Thanks Allen

It is by far the best car I ever owned.

My very first car was an 87 GTA Trans-Am
2nd was a 72 Valiant VH Charger 245ci straight hemi (6 cyl)
3rd was a 70 Dodge Challenger
4th 68 DOdge Charger (red one that I got rid of finally)
5th 68 Dodge Charger QQ1 Blue.

Quality/reliability wise and body wise only the Trans Am I had was no rust and perfect working condition, and so is this Charger I got now.

Btw- these were all my personal cars, meaning, these were the run around cars, then I got married, now I got a beater (cause its the wifes  :smilielol:)

BBKNARF

NICE  :2thumbs: very clean looking.
68 Charger, slowly in the works, 451 c.i. approx. 535 hp @ the flywheel, so far best time in the 1/4
11.21 @ 119 mph, full exhaust, stock suspension, 4:10s @ 3640 pounds.

That Blue 68 is a very pretty car.  You shouldbe very proud to own it.  I would be!  It would be a great addition to th efleet

That color combo realy turned some heads.  The tail stripe was painted on not a decal,  AM/FM CD player installed in the glove box, so I could keep the original thumb wheel in the dash :2thumbs:
