08 hemi Challenger :yesnod:  I hope they build a convertible :o  They will be more than most chargers but much easier to finance ;D

I'm getting me one as soon as they announce you can place the order.  :icon_smile_big:

You could live with 1 arm and 1 leg, I say sell them for the Charger parts you need. :D
lol. Nothing like a hard core charger fanatic

preferably a 68-72 b-body..but even those are getting too pricey.

realistically, I'd get a 68-69 dart, with a small block, painted flat black and dog dish wheels.

QuoteRoad/Track what's the deal with that 300 red convertible?  That is a beauty.  Who owns it?  Is it for sale?
Seriously looking for a car like that!  Any one knows of one...please let me know.

The red 300G  it's.....hmmm let see yeah it mine pride and joy until at last found my 3rd generation Charger :icon_smile_tongue:
For some reason I bought the G before the Charger but I have all they years (+20) since I missed a 71 R/T been looking for R/T and I swore to my self that I never should compromise with any thing else then a R/T, but then this 71 SE U-code 440, 4-speed, dana, Hemi orange (currently in Porches Indish rot (painted 1984, I have the invoice) was sold locally, how could you ignore that ??? ::)

But I would not give up the G, i have realized that this is my best investment ever :icon_smile_big:
as could be seen on this auction;

well i called the bank today to check on financeing a 75 duster thats localy for sale. I havnt even looked at it but have seen it, then last night a friend told me that last summer the guy told him he could have it for 3grand. its got a 360 crate motor, 4 speed. and a good looking plum crazy paint job with white 360 stripes. one draw back is the tan interior, but ill live with it for the price. its only going to increase in value, and its something cool to drive while i redo the charger.

I used to drive a '73 340 Dart Sport in high school.  Sold it for $500.00 back in '82  :brickwall:
Also used to own a '72 Satalite.  Loved that car to death. (literally)  Sold it for $400 in '85  :icon_smile_blackeye:
Also had a '66 Mustang, a '74 Mustang, a '76 Charger and a '79 Magnum.  All of these cars would be worth a lot more today then what I sold them off for back in the day.  Dang!  (I bought the '76 Charger for $50 and drove it home  ;D )

The '68 Charger I own now? I'll NEVER sell!  :drive:

63 polara 2 door,  or same year fury.  also 70 2door fury's are mean as hell.  also 68/69 barracuda notchbacks look very cool.  The best part about any A body is that you can basically stick junk 318's in 'em they will be quick.

If you are into the 50's, in my opinion, nothing looks cooler than a 56 buick 2door.  similar to chevy, but has the portholes and the wicked break in the body line.  tub one of those and watch the women and children run in fear.

64-66 Darts and Barracudas are cheap, still.  A bodies, especially the 73+s.  73-74 B bodies are also cheap.  Satellites and Coronets, 66-67, are much cheaper than their 68-70 cousins.

I like the 57 DeSoto, Dodge, Plymouth, or Chrysler.  My other thought would be a AMC, either a Rebel or an Ambassador.  A Dart Demon would also be good, or a Dodge Truck.  Just my two cents.

My other passion is Cadillacs. I have a 75 Coupe deville with a 500 that I inherited from my grandfather that is more important to me than my charger my house and even my tools! :icon_smile_big:  I would really love a 41 Cadillac convertible! These cars are just beautiful! :o They are by far my favorite car even more than a charger, (Insert boo's here ::) :icon_smile_approve:) Although they really aren' much cheaper. But I am sure I can get the nicest one for cheaper than a original Hemi Charger! ;)

Here is a Guy in the local Cadillac Club region by the name of Jerry Steelman's  41 Convertible

Here is my Cadillac:

notice they have the same hood ornament! I paid a ton of money for an original 41 hoodie for my car!
