Part number needed - B Body wheel studs - disc brake

Good Day All,
I have two rotors in need of wheel studs and require a current part number to buy a set.

I previously went through my local Dodge Dealer's parts department, and got 10 studs. Unfortunately, I didn't open the box until I got home and found that what I bought was nowhere near what I'd expected.

So, I need a good and current PN to give the counter dude...

There is only one company that i know of that reproduces rotors for the old 1966-69 Bendix disc brake systems.
A company named Dura Brake.
It's the Rotor only, you use your old hub assembly.
Better be sitting down when they tell you a price for a rotor.
When i was inquiring about rotors, the price was $170.00 each.
But what ya gonna do, when they are the only game in town, and you need to purchase rotors?

Actually, I bought a set of used rotors, calipers and spindles. These were taken off another 1968 Charger R/T.
The studs were removed for whatever reason...the owner opted to change these brakes for a Wilwood setup.

So I tried the factory part numbers at my local Dodge dealer. The L/H thread one is completely out to lunch.
The R/H thread one upscales to a new PN, the same one that is found in the Mopar Performance catalog.
These are the studs I got, tried on my rotor, and found to be too small in the splined section. As well, they're approximately 4.5" in length.
I'd have gladly cut them shorter if the spline section had fit! But- I ended up returning them for a credit.

I then went to my local NAPA Auto Parts, gave them my NAPA number, which showed as good, and displayed a picture of the stud on-screen! (Yay!)
Unfortunately, they are out of stock...everywhere. The counter guy did a search on the number and they're nowhere to be found! (Boo!)

I'm pretty sure you can get the droman rights without to much trouble, lefts on the other had will be tough. All left hand wheel studs were dis-continued several years ago .

Went back to NAPA with a wheel stud I had kicking around in my tool box, just for comparison's sake.
I'm pretty sure this stud came off the front drum brake of an A108, as I'd changed these studs out for longer Moroso units.

I pushed it into my disc brake rotor assembly to see how it would fit. The splines were exactly right, but the stud itself was too short. As well the flange at the bottom was too wide to snug the stud completely in there.

So, the criteria was: longer (correct diameter) splined section, longer stud overall length, smaller diameter flange, 1/2" thread.

The parts guy dug through his supply and found an acceptable wheel stud.
Now I just have to get it up home (this weekend) and see how it fits!

After getting the new wheel studs back to my garage (4.5 hours away), I find that the studs are ALMOST the right ones...but not close enough.

The splined section needs to be further up the stud to perfectly fit into the rotor! So, if I can find a wheel stud that essentually reverses the position of the shank section and the splines on the barrel of the stud, I'll be home free.

I checked my NAPA here to see if they had them?  No, Indianapolis is the main warehouse, and that is where they are.  He'd heve to order them.
The BK 6414090 should be correct ... no left thread available.
If yours is a 69 with disc, those were the numbers.
If you want me to check further places, let me know.

It would be nice if NAPA (Canada) got friendly-like and brought in the studs I need, but they've already told me no way.

So I'm printing off the picture of your wheel studs and hitting up another supplier today.

Wow! What a ride!
After numerous answers (all the same - out of stock - can't get), I contacted Car Quest Auto parts in Dartmouth, and they agreed to order 10 studs at $1.77 each, directly from Dorman, the manufacturer.

The other alternative was to get them on eBay, and pay stupid shipping costs.
Summit had them as well, and the cheapest shipping for them was $26.00!

So, I'm awaiting a package now...three weeks.

I'm one of those people who don't buy into the left-hand thread business, despite it's quaintness.

I ordered the Dorman lug nuts through the only place in town that knew what I was talking about, Car Quest Auto Parts.
It took three weeks to get them from Kentucky.

Picked them up last Friday, took them back to my garage on Saturday and had them installed in mere minutes!

Finally...resolution!! Thank you again to all those who assisted me in my quest!
