The loser who drove that 'Cuda not only killed someone, but he also destroyed a rare classic car. I hope the law throws the book at him!

SRT-68

What an a##hole. Wrong thing to do at the wrong place. Killed a guy, destroyed a classic car and made all of us look bad to the general public.

What a jerk.

Plus the idiot was drunk  :rotz:

Yep.  Seems to me like they buried the lede.  You had to watch 2:25 of the 2:30 clip to hear that "the driver will be arrested for driving under the influence."

In my opinion, that seems somewhat more important than a throwaway line at the end.

"Morgan also told 10News he hopes law enforcement and San Diego County Supervisor Dianne Jacob will now take a serious look at these roads to prevent future crashes like this one."

I hope he likes the speed bumps they'll likely put on his street.  ::)
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

What a sad event!

"They very narrowly killed a neighbor next door because their daughter was unloading a horse from a horse cart about eight feet from the skid marks in this particular accident," Morgan added.

How do you narrowly kill someone ???
Make it idiot proof, and somebody will make a better idiot!

If you think Education is difficult, try being stupid!

That should have been in the beginning of the broadcast...  Such a shame that things like this happen.  I've got a friend who just got popped for his second OUI. He was playing "Poor me, the victim" with me the other day and it took all I could not to smack him. He could have killed a family.. But "poor me".  Losers.

The dude is a dumbass.  Here are a couple of pics snagged from the video.

I thought the same thing, I couldn't understand why they would state the death so nonchalantly...

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

This goes back to what I said about Cooters post in the GT500 thread. Plenty of older people can't drive or are smart enough to not drive drunk. Then end up killing someone or getting killed driving a performance car. You can do all that in a 4 cyl civic also but those accidents do not get the attention.

We all make stupid mistakes, but I wouldn't want to live with the knowledge because of doing something dumb I killed a friend or anyone.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.
