Anyone here with pictures how this moulding is attached to the body? I'm trying to assemble buddys car and he do not remember what kind of screws/clips was there.
I guess this moulding goes in first, then roof rail metal channel. Am I right??

They have screws on the inside that are under the 1/4 glass window sweeps

PasiR

Bill, yep screws are not a problem, but those "J-clips" are missing. Actually I found two of them, guess I need to improvise the rest...  ;D

J clips ? got a picture of one ?

I thought they screwed directly into the 1/4 panel lip that the window sweep clips into

Here is J-clip

PasiR

And round holes for clips on body.

The J-clips are very deep and hard to find. I came up dry at local auto supply stores & ended up using speed nuts behind them instead.

Bill, you got a source for these??  :scratchchin:

No, Can't say I've never seen them before ( at least close to pay attention to them anyway)

I fabbed own clips yesterday evening and got mouldings installed today.

I get in contact with Tom at R/T Specialties, if anyone has them he does. The phone may ring several times but don't hang up, he will answer. Good luck.
