Anyone know this '68 on ebay?

I've still kept my eye out for a black Charger -- and this one has the color scheme and roof that I like.  Not a manual -- but now that I have a manual 440-6 Challenger, that's not so important anymore.

Anyway, I realize the car has neither the original engine nor the exterior color that it was born with -- and don't really care.

Has anyone seen the car personally, or able to pick out any major problems from just the pics?  Anyone familiar with Atlas muscle car company in Texas?  I just emailed the sellers for some more information, about panel work, gauges, etc.

It looks solid enough. A St. Louis built Charger. I don't see any mention about a fender tag, or even a photo of the dash vin. The engine (and transmission?) are not original so you need to compare the SO numbers on the buildsheet to the body stampings to make sure they go together. Where is the A/C? The vents and controls are there.

Kind of funny to not list the vin in the ad, and then show the buildsheet. I suppose most people would not make the effort.

If you are even entertaining buying the car please go and look at it first. Or get a knowledgeable buddy, at least.

If I remember correctly this car has been for sale for over 18 months. I think I saw this advertised first in July 2010 when I was out hunting for my car.
Was priced close to $40' at that time. Atlas had a few chargers for sale back then - so it could be this is a new one..

looks ok , not bad , from the pictures ,   but freash black paint & i see some iffy bits in the body work    but looks solid enough from whats shown
