Ignition lock bezel

Hi!
I wonder if its possible to install the ignition bezel on my 69 after the dash pad around it are installed?

It should be - I've taken them out without removing the pads.

I took mine out with the pad on by carefully using long nose pliers to engage the slots.  It was not tight.  There is a tool made to install/remove the bezel.  Kind of pricy.  Might be necessary if the bezel wouldn't move.  O/W, you may end up ruining the bezel.
