glass mirror removal

does anyone know how to remove the glass mirror from the side mirrors?  i want to send them out to be rechromed but i dont want to send them with the glass mirror inside them.  thanks.

if its the remote type  ,
un do phillips screw !! green arrow

gently pry appart led clamps that hold cable  , don't go mad !! just enough to free the cable

when putting back togeather make sure the mirror glass bracket inside the mirror housing is located on the two lugs before tightening screw !! you well see what i'm on about , when you take it appart !
