My '69 is going to the body shop next week. The painter is a buddy who is trying to establish a new shop. He's not a Mopar guy and doesn't them real well.
Tail panel-black (semi-gloss?)
How much of radiator support gets painted black?
Are the rear reflector frames body color or stripe color?
Anything else get painted different? Any and all painting advice will be greatly appreciated as this is my first time painting any car and my buddy's first classic Mopar. Also, is there anyplace I can go to get the colors to paint everthing under the hood, wiper motor, brake assist, etc.? Thanks.

I don't have a complete breakdown but it's probably been covered somewhere. Here's what I do know:

Tail Panel:

The rear marker light frames should be the same as the stripe color.

Your doors will be painted the same color as your interior in the area around the door panels (so you don't see a body colored line at the bottom or edges). I can't seem to find a good pic right now. You can get correct paint colors from places like Totally Auto and Eastwood. The wiper motor and some suspension and brake components are anodized or bare metal color. There are some good threads on engine compartments right now in the General Discussion section and there are several threads on detailing suspension components in this section and in the Chassis section.

Good luck!
