Were these painted body color or left galvanised. I have looked around but have not been able to come up with any photos showing nose cone from underneath veiw.
I'll try the leads you gave me. By the way, still looking for wing washers!

Is this the part you were asking about?  If so, I have seen it both bare galvanizing and painted black.  Not sure if one or both ways are correct.

Thanks Arnie, that is the part. I am arranging to have one sent out by Gean Gregory. His is bare steel. I would like to be sure of the finish. Does anybody have photos of original vehicles showing the fitment and finish?

Thanks Brennan, I have the fender extensions and mine are in good condition. I ended up finding a center valance panel. I am still looking for L/H wing washer though!!

Hi there are a few new photos on Streamline Automotive Refinishing's Facebook page.  Come on over and say hi. Right Hand Side sheet metal work done, now onto the Left Hand Side.....dreading the nosecone!!!

Still progressing, body shell inc trunk lid, doors, fenders, hood now finished and gapped. Wing trial fitted, with some fine tuning it all fits perfect. Body shell and panels just need to be blocked then final color. The nose cone is the final part that needs to be panel beated. This will be the final part to be installed.
The shell will then go on the rotisserie for the underside of the floor to be blocked, then finally some blue paint!
Chris is doing a great job on the body, I should have some more exciting photos in the coming weeks.

Yes, the 'Bird has been progressing. Had a few issues with the nosecone.
When I bought the car the nose cone was completely apart, with some damage, so it is taking a while to get it right.
The rest of the body is done. Pictures are of body in final primer, and panels on to check gaps again!
I'm extremely happy as the car is laser straight with perfect gaps.  Ready to put body on rotisserie to paint floor pan. Can't wait to see some Petty Blue paint!

Hey Rick--

Since Rainbow4jd is asking about Petty birds again, would you mind looking at your broadcast sheet and seeing if it was an ordered car or sales bank unit?  That's in the upper right.  Also, under the N codes 3/4 of the way down, does it have N95 California emissions?  It was posted earlier that your car spent time there.  Do you have the emissions tube in the trunk?
