Just bought this 74 ralley charger all original from missori! Came with the original 400 and trans. It had an engine fire long time ago an the original bulge hood needs reframed. It did come with another bulge hood that someone cut a hole in which looked like it had a scoop on it as well. Plans are to fix it back original except for the wheels whitch it will keep the old school slots! It does run now with another 400 out of a 73 ralley. For the first time she moved under her own power this weekend, I'd post pics or vid but somehow can't through my phone? Any ideas on how to? I have an iPhone. Thanks-Rich

Congrats on picking up a Rallye Charger. If this is the same car I'm thinking, I know the car. And the fellow you got the car from is a good Mopar guy. I have traded, brought and sold cars and parts with him, and would again. That 74 bulge hood use to hang in my barn. It came off a 74 that was turned into a dirt car and the hood was the only thing that survived. Why someone cut that hole, I don't know but should be repairable. Good luck with the rebuild and do post pictures.

Hey Mike the guys name is Wade, he is a mopar nut and really nice guy. I remember this car way back when for sell on here. It's green with black interior. The hood with the hole is white. Very repairable as I have already welded in new piece and fixed the frame. I'm still going to fix the original, reframe it. What's the history on the car? Did you own it?

No I didn't own that car the hood came from, got it from another fellow who is big time Mopar guy, lots of cars and parts. Got the history from him.I picked up that hood for another car I had, was going to use it on a 1973, but changed my mind. Wade needed it, so he got it. Your car that you picked up from Wade was a car I wanted to purchase but never did (funds). Look like a good candidate to rebuild. Don't see to many 1974 Rallye Chargers around.  Post some pictures please.

Can you upload them from your phone to something like Photobucket and then post them from there?

Plug it into the computer, pull the pictures off and onto your desktop, then upload them through a hosting site. I like "imageshack.us". Copy the link it gives you and paste it into the thread.

Or just email them to yourself, open and save them on your computer, then upload.

Love to see old chargers get restored.  Looks great.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.
