so im swapping my 400 big block into my car.. i need some info.. will i need different mounts? it has a 318 currently in it.. and i was curious on the tranny.. it has a 727 in it from what the previous owner said? 3 speed on the tree.. thanks

Yep,
727 has different Trans cases from small block to Big Block, you need a BIG BLOCK 727 Trans....
Also,
mounts are different sb to bb, try Schumacher for conversion mounts....
