I bought a 68 440 intake an it appeared to have an original Holley Choke thermostat on it. Or did 68 440 cars only come with Carters? If Holleys were an option what carb would have come on the car?

Thanks

The only 440's with Holley's in '68 came on C-Body and Imperial.

I found one 4160 Holley that was available for B body applications in 1968. Look for list numbers: 4235, 4236 (C bodies) & 3918 (B bodies) for correct '68 440 applications.

I show 3918 for PDCY.

3917 For PD

I show 4235, 4236 for 68 Super Stock Hemi.

PDCY   -  Plymouth  Dodge Chrysler (all C-Body) and Y is for Imperial   - Automatic Trans cars if all 4 are shown....never seen a Chrysler or Imperial with a standard trans (talking late sixties).

PD  -  Plymouth and Dodge ....in this case the carb was for a standard trans
