The tuff wheel was actually optional on 70 B bodies very late in the model year. Not very many left the factory.  :Twocents:

...'70 Road Runner...arriving at the shop last year...it was a complete car, matching numbers etc...just ugly...

...I had been kicking around the idea for a while and a donor car became available not far from my home, so "Project Blackbird" was born

...it will have a black top, steel wheels/dog dish, buckets/no console, radio delete, power windows, 426 Fuel Injection, 6-spd...all PLYMOUTH/Superbird decals will be black...THRUSH stuff will be gone soon...being built to drive like it's 1970 again

...some may condem the project because we used a real Road Runner...but we saved every stock piece in case anyone ever wants to convert it back ...but at my age, I doubt the car will ever be sold again...it oughta be a fun car to play with

Yes...I'm on something, it seems.   :brickwall:  Okay, so, including hemis, an apparent number of 74??  Really?  74?  I'd have to agree with Stuart.  If there are 74, where are the other 60 or so that we haven't seen?

ok, there were a LOT of alterations made to that chart, including adding an extra gtx column to it, for starters. look closer at the similarities in numbers between the two columns. the gtx column is genuine; the birdvert one is not.

Kingston? Wow, that's about 30 minutes from me here in Newburgh, NY.

I moved here in '89 & never saw a bird in this area until I met my friend Craig who still has his two, a white one & a lime 6 pak one.

If I recall, the one with the flames I posted was redone back to stock. I think someone on here either knows of it, or owns it.   :shruggy:
