1st post here , hello to all

hi everyone , ive been looking at the posts here for a while & decided to put my fat fingers to work & finally say hello , not new to mopars . i tried resizing my pics but cant get them smaller than 370 kb , ill figure it out soon though , ive got a 70 rt charger in resto mode now , funds have been low so has been progress . its kinda an odd story how i got the car , im at work & spot a 68 coronet so naturally cars are more important than work soooo , i knock on the door guys says he is tired of people knocking but figures sinnce he has lost his sight & 1 kidney he could use a few xtra bucks , says the the coronet was his first car 318/ 904 runs good he'll take 3k , at that price my interest was lost so after 15 more minutes of talk im heading back to work & saying goodbuy he drops this bomb on me , oh i do have 3 more cars in the back but youll have to come back later if you have time so my wife can unlock the garage . so naturally i ask what ya got  , oh a 70 r/t charger its black now & apart but ive got all the pieces & it does run , its been painted a few times but it was that ugly pink from the factory , some im losing my mind at this point & then he says ive got a 70 440 six pack roadrunner post trak pac car fj5 original drivetrain gone but has fendertag & buildeet with a bunch of parts (my friend bought it) & the other one is a 70 satellite ragtop . pretty cool eh ? i finally got to be in the right place at the right time . after looking at the car it had the fendertag & buildsheet something didnt look right , i noticed some rivets on the radiator support , so afterwards i question him & he gets all defensive & admits the car was rebodied in the 80's because the car was clipped easy in the rear & he didnt like the the repair job so the front clip & doors & drivetrain were put on a 70 500 383 car . hers the really cool part , he tells me who did the work & im able to track him down & he has the original fm3 body in a field & trades it to me for a 70 dart 6 banger car , so now ive got 2 70 chargers (still no cash) sorry for the lack of paragraphs & hello to all from tulsa ok

the panther pink pink site is pretty cool , according to the site they only made 28 in pink , kinda cool. fender tag reads

finding the original shell was awesome , at first he didnt want to part with it but then changed his mind , its gonna need all the metal from the doors back with the exception of the frame rails , the floors are awesome as are the crossmember & front of car , im probably goona let my duster go to buy the metal , not sure yet . the 383 turns over just fine , but ive got the matching #s motor & trans , the only thing that didnt come with the car was the original air cleaner , he got really weird when i even mentioned it so i dropped the subject not wanting to miss out on the deal , i still cant believe ive got it , thanx for the welcoming comments to all
