Plymouth VS Dodge nose cones

Has anyone set one of each side by side? Has anyone ever tried one on the opposites body?

Im curious because when I was Bird hunting around 1985-1986 I was stalking a White Bird that was an obvious pieced together "piece".  It was missing all the decals with a mix/matched interior and the kicker is......it had a Daytona nose bolted up to it.  It was the first Superbird I ever looked up under its skirt  with intrest to buy so I wasnt really packing any wingcar knowledge. Truth is I didnt really know anything about Mopars until after I bought mine. 

So has anyone ever seen or done a nose swap?

A Daytona nose on a Superbird looks very strange.   A fellow from Chicago back in the '70's sourced one of the factory fiberglass prototype noses and put it on a Bird.    The transition from the fenders to the nose was awkward looking.   I have photos, just not with me at the moment.

I cant get out of my mind how strange it was to see the grill in the "point" of the nose rather than "under" it.

I have a "Superbird" nose on my 1970 Charger Daytona Clone.  I ordered a "Daytona" nose from Showcars out of Canada many, many years back, along with the lower valance and other parts.......what I got was all Superbird parts.  (They thought they were all the same...right....).  I placed the Superbird nose on my Daytona and I liked the look, so I went with it.....plus no one at the time was offering any wing car parts.  It looks just like the "Supercharger" show car and is cleaner looking than a Daytona nose.  Since my "Daytona" clone is part custom....it works for me.......Not to sure I would like a Daytona nose on a Superbird...................

This car is 69 Coronet/Super Bee with side scoops. With superbird parts I have more pictures of it to find

Here's the photo I was talking about of the Bird with the vintage fiberglass Daytona nose.    Keep in mind this was done in the mid-70's before there were any reproduction glass parts.    The owner got the nose to repair the car and it was all he could find at the time.      Look how strange the transisions from the fender peaks to the top of the nose are.   You can really see it on the passenger side.  He's also added in the body line extending from the hood.
