3.50 gears for my 70 Charger?

I had 3.23 gears in the rear end of my 70 charger and had loud howling.  While they had it torn down, I discussed changing the gears to the 3.55.

I went by today and they had put in the new gears, but the box said 3.50 gears.  Has anyone heard of this ratio?  It was news to me.

By the way, the car hauls ass and I love it.  But I am confused.

3.50 did not come from Mopar...maybe aftermarket?

What's the brand name on the box? They probably just rounded the number off.
