Seen a car I like that has a 727 with a manual valve body, my question is, what's involved in putting it back to how it was where the car can just be driven in "D" as i'm not overkeen on the whole manual valve body thing ? Thanks

RECHRGD

It just needs to be replaced with an automatic type valve body and kickdown linkage added back into the mix.

There may be a set of governor seals that are missing.

Is it a forward pattern MVB or reverse pattern? In most cases where a RMVB is installed all of the governor parts are removed, not just the sealing rings.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
