I believe it had the manifolds, but unsure if it was an actual Max Wedge engine or not.

That's the episode where Cooter sends Daisy off in the maroon road runner and says "keep it between the ditches".  She shows up at "Patche's" place in hot pink shorts and says "I hear you are looking for hot driver's!"

Think Luke was in the middle of loosing an arm wrestling contest with some goon.   Was about to get the back of his hand buried in a something they called a blood brother.

Wow, I got a good memory.

The show often aired 22 or more new episodes each year. 147 in the entire series run.

That depends on how you look at it. Some of the episodes was a two part episode, so there far it could also be counted as one episode too. An there was are least 3 two part episodes made.

The Ten Million Dollar Sheriff
The Undercover Dukes
The C.O.T's

An there was mostly 3 chargers used per episode of the Dukes of Hazzard series. 3 cars was mostly on hand at any given time for an episode. They jump at least one charger per episode (but for Mary Kay's Baby episode as there is no General Lee at all to be found in that episode).

The Ten Million Dollar Sheriff (2 General Lee jumps)
The Undercover Dukes (none I think)
The C.O.T's (3 General Lee jumps) The creek scene with 1 General Lee, then 2 General's used for the 32 car jump scene, 1 General Lee on first jump hit the last car on the stack (nose down towards the take off scene of the footage) (2nd General Lee used for the ending of the jump scene (Nose on cut footage is now facing up while tail end is facing down))
