I have a 69 Road Runner that was gutted for a drag car only. The underside of the dash wiring is all GONE! The current method for power supply is a single wire for every thing electrical in the car, and under the hood, controlled by toggle and rocker switches. I'm in the process of making the car more user friendly. The question is," are the 69 dodge and plymouth wiring harnesses the same, under hood and dash, 69 for 69, 440 for 440 ?  Your wisdom is appreciated   Jeff usdodge

It would be the same as a Coronet.  Not a Super Bee but a regular Coronet.

Is it the gauges that are making the difference between the cornet and the superbee

Ghoste

Yes, the Super Bee has the same instrument panel as a Charger.

Is this a convertable thing, as, can I convert the superbee into the roadrunner harness. I currently have no gauge clusters or conventional equipment in the r.r. dash. Even the steering column has been stripped down to nothing. I guess what I'm asking, does the two harnesses have a moulded plug to connect into the gauge cluster?

Ghoste

A number of plugs actually.  But where the Road Runner has warning lights, the Charger has gauges so the two are very different.  Even the dash frame differs as the Super Bee/Charger one is cut differently to accommodate the different instruments.

I see, wellthen, can the engine and light herness be used with a R.R. underdash harness?

Ghoste

Not sure, I will have to look that up.  I want to say yes but I dont want to mislead you if Im not sure.  I do that to people enough as it is lol.

Go to Yearone.com and go to the electrical section. It will show you what's what.
