Well I decided to pretend to be Mr. Angry and take my charger to the Kettering University Autocross, the results were less impressive, but I do have some sweet video and pics, (Be sure to leave likes and comments)!

First are two videos taken from my blackberry by my father:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIOG3bi0MB4

Then two interior videos that are much higher quality from my friends phone (except it was raining the the view is a bit distorted)

Then we have the view outside of the car:

And finaly my favorite view, the view behind the rear wheel which gets a face full of smoke on multiple occasions!

And as an added bonus, here is my Grand Prix which was actually really competetive, it placed mid pack against RX8s and the like:

Good fun! Thanks for posting those pics. Is your Charger a 68-1/2 year model?  :scratchchin:  It makes perfect sense to me, though; the part that is bringing up the rear is from a '69....  :icon_smile_wink:  :D

Well to put it into perspective, the car has no sway bars, marginally stiffer torsion bars (0.96) and 42 year old leaf springs, and air shocks in the rear (which I set to 60 psi to try to cure some of the roll). The car did get up onto 3 wheels many times, as the front inside wheel would lift off the ground during hard cornering. My best time was 30.5 seconds, only a second slower than some of the other cars, the fastest car did a 25 second run. My Grand Prix (after only 3 runs in the wet) ran a 27.063, which was pretty respectable considering I only ran it 3 times while everyone else ran their cars 12-16 times.

Yeah the front half is a 68, the back half is a 69, and the interior is a 70... its a mix of all the best from the 2nd gen! It is sort of cobbled together and I am working my best to straighten it all out. My father says I should just sell it and buy a good one, but this one holds a lot of sentimental value to me (I have been working on it for the past 9 years, since I was 14) and I don't think I could love a replacement as much as I love this car.

I agree! Looks like you had fun though, and that's the main thing! I'd give Hotchkis a call though! Nice to have something to compare it to, baseline. I'll bet it wouldn't take much to see some real improvements
