Just thought I'd bring this up. If it can happen to buick or Olds guys it could happen at the Mopar nats aswell.

I may be schizophrenic but at least I have us!

Treat em like they used treat horse thieves back in the day.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

It's unbelievable that they could get away with that without someone recognizing what was going on. I assume they will all end up shipped overseas. Crazy!

That was my first thought.  But, when you read the posts about the regs to get one off the boat, I wonder if they'd have better luck washing them here.    :shruggy:

The world is a big place, and there are a lot of places in the world with less control, and even less people who care where a car come from. It's been awhile so I don't remember the details, but there are theft rings that containerize cars/parts and ship them to the Middle East, S. America, China, Russia, and Asia where nobody asks questions.

Wow
If they planned that cordinated heist they sure have plans on how to get rid of them.

I'm actually suprised it dosen't happen more often at big events like MATS or Spring Fling where people come from all over the US, Mexico and Canada.

I would also say be careful where you stay, because it's highly possible that someone working at the hotel tipped off the thieves in the first place.

They don't just steal the whole car . . . They take parts while you're not looking.  Guy next to me at the MOPAR Nats had his air cleaner stolen right off his car while he was gone walkabout.   I went to get the girlfriend at the hotel since I was 3rd in line to get in when the gate opened and a little to early for her.   But come on . . . Taking parts off a car at a show in plain daylight  . . . You have big balls!
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .
