98 half ton. 318, auto and air. 158k miles. Bought it from the city of Dublin where it was assigned to the guy that takes care of the cemetary there. It's had the front end rebuilt, new brakes calipers and rotors within the last 6 months. Drives great.

I had to put 3 brake lines on it. I think it will be a great truck to drive back and forth to work and to use around the farm.

I am looking for a retired municipal plow truck... Just because when I spend my time in the snow belt, I want overkill

  No, Dublin Ohio. It's a suburb of Columbus. =)

I was looking through the work orders and it had a new radiator put in it last year too.

Try govdeals.com and search by your state or whatever area you are willing to travel to go get it.  There are lots of them.

Shopping for the same.   By the looks of Craigslist it seems a lot of guys have thrown in the towell for this winter.  The prices are not bad for snow-on-the-ground.  Found a couple good prospects searching "plow" under car-parts.
