Congrats to South Carolina.  Ouch. :icon_smile_blackeye:

From what I read, the Cowboys have been a .500 team since 1997? The owner is the GM...does anyone else see what the problem is? Jerry needs to fire himself.

And major stuff coming out of Indy.

knew spag was on the way out. the rams have a few good players, but they are a long way from competitive football. some people picked them to win their division. took too much from preseason.

Here's my theory on that: if the average NFL fan knows the name of the team owner, he's too involved. The only two names I can rattle off the top of my head are the two mentioned above.

Does Tom Flores still own a team? If so I don't consider him too involved because if he was, I'd know if he was still an owner.

Well said Bull.

Personally, I love Jerry Jones.  As a Giants fan, he keeps finding a way to keep his team in a choke hold just when we need it.  It's also a blast to watch his face when we beat the 'boys, like when we beat them in their new stadium's home opener.  He just loved that one. Eli signed the wall in the visitors locker room after that game, shockingly at the request of stadium staff.  Getting rid of Jones might return Dallas to a dynasty franchise, and we can't have that.

I'm not big a fan of Dallas or mainly Tony Romo, he's way over hyped, IMHO & I would agree, Jerry should let someone else do the job, I guess it's the "It's My Damn Team & I'll do what I please", type of mentality, but Jerry Jones did win 3 Super Bowls as the Dallas Cowboys owner, but he doesn't have any were near that kind of good football team any longer....

Yep the Chiefs before they moved {or were driven out by the NFL} to KC were the Dallas Texans in the very early days of the 1960-61 {I think it was} AFL league...
