hi all , anyone know where i can buy a thompson power steering pump for my 68 440 charger , only yearone seems to have them and they want silly money for them . cheers dave .

$200 @ http://www.dodgeplymouthbrakeparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=AB6019

Or Rockauto will rebuild yours for around $70.  If you're handy you can just buy a rebuild kit.

To save you a bit of money you may first want to look into the rebuild kit.  It'll be a lot cheaper to ship than an actual pump and who knows, it may be an easy job.  I haven't done one yet so I can't tell really.  If you do end up needing the whole pump then hopefully a member here can sell you one.  I can only imagine the cost to ship a heavy item and if it's new I'm pretty sure you would have to pay vat on top of it.  Place an ad in the parts wanted and see who bites.

Have a good one!
