hey guys i have access to a huge cnc router, punch press and a laser. ive made quite a few things over the years. i only have a few pics of things i figured i would share. there isnt much i couldnt make. i mostly use aluminum and i also do some steel work aswell. we made a guitar body but i dont have pics at the moment it came out fantastic.  i also make all my own 3 bolt flanges for my exhaust work on all my cars.
if you can get me a picture or a good idea of what you want i can transfer it to metal. i have a bunch of different thicknesses available that i can use.

I made these on our CNC router a month or so ago....just for grins, and for practice as I don't get to use it very often.

I'm thinking a set of rally dash panels for 2nd gen B Body. 3 flat aluminum sections cut to replace the plastic ones. Laid out with holes to fit aftermarket gauge sets and a DIN size radio hole for the center radio panel, not too difficult to work out, you could sell them.  :scratchchin: Later this year or early next I'll be replacing these sections with ones that are nicer bought off eBay. You could use my old ones if you wanted for templates.

Yep, the kids get smarter faster than we think they do.   My spouse use code words for our conversations and we have to change them every week now because the kids figure out what we are talking about.   :yesnod:

Another vote for the charger script AND for the dash bezels.  If I can have a set of perfectly flat pieces that fit in the dash with the original gauges and radio then I'd have a perfect base for either decals or even wood veneer.  I'd make the base out of wood if it wasn't so thick. Aluminum or steel would hold up much better I think.

I have been heavily considering doing exactly this...

I was just unsure if anyone would want it.  No raised rings around the gauge holes, and the holes would be resized to fit 3 3/8", 2 5/8", and/or 2 1/16 standard aftermarket gauges.  The rectangular holes can still be there for the switches and engraved with the labels.
