Hi Folks

I recently part exchanged my 68 Mustang Fastback for a good old 68 charger 440ci. And i love her, more comfotable than i ever imagined and being a restomod shes fantatic on the roads. The best car ive ever owned. Im already a member  of the connected MOPAR forum, but would like to get to know some of you guys on here as i feel ill need some help with her continued restoration.

Heres some pics for you to take a look at her, she was on the front cover in the UK American car magazine September issue,

out of interest here was my mustang

thanks guys

Rene ;)

Hi there

Not so many Mopars in Scotland especially on the roads, there are a few imported NEW mustangs on the road, i had one of the few classics in my area. Now with regard to chargers they are extremely rare indeed, Petrol prices in the UK are horrendous but you dont buy a car like that then worry about fuel lol,

Why, Paul? Because of the dual snorkel (which is from a later year model, by the way)?

Thanks Guys

She used to be a 318ci i believe and has been upgraded to a new 440ci. My mustang was a 301ci with windsor Headers making her a 351. I love that petrol charger and yes id agree similar. I may put on some chrome rims for the summer, the winters here are crap they put too much salt on the roads.

Does anyone have anymore info on that petrol charger? im in awe lol.

thanks again guys

That was my clue Dan.  The center dash pad with a/c vents blocked off.   :yesnod:

Hi Rene,
I'm in Scotland too, down in Ayrshire, where are you?
I read all about yer car in the magazine, very nice

I have a 68 R/T, and have had nothing but joy and pleasure every time I drive it, jings even looking at it brings a smile to my face. Doesn't sound like mine handles as nice as yours though.
Like you said, It's getting time to put it away for the winter, hopefully see you about next year at some of the runs and shows.
Cheers, Mark
