If you watch close you can see the back of the car dancing back and forth when he's on the trans brake before he hit the wall the first time. I cant help but wounder what was left loose.

The video reminds me of this video. Why grab another gear???

I never asked this before, but is there a meaning in what the tail lights mean. Because you always see on side or the other out. Very rarely see both tail lights working  :scratchchin:

Sorry if it's not PC mention, but look how the driver gets around on the prostetic legs.  That is amazing.

The video needs no added commentary.

"Holly crap Batman"   I saw that over at FBBO forum, that's a bad day at the track for sure, I feel bad for the guy, but who else can you blame? I think I read he was a vet, got blown up by a IED, at least he out doing it, not sitting around bitching about his problems...

Looks like someone forgot to fully weld the brackets ...  :slap:

Luckily the car isn't destroyed, I was half expecting to see it hit the wall with a bit more force.... Lucky

NHRA only requires one working tail light on drag cars, so purpose built vehicles usually opt to only install one light. Eliminating all the other lighting reduces the amp load on the battery which allows more juice for the ignition for those cars that don't run alternators.

:2thumbs: In the video near the end, When they pull the car up on the trailer you can see it, almost a clean break, right were the welds should be on the suspension bracket  :brickwall: that are suppose to be welded to the rear axle tubes,  :hah: cold weld joint or no penetration or metal fatigued or something  :shruggy:...

Thank you. I never knew that, but growing up around race cars, I totally understand it.  :2thumbs:
