Well I have slept roughly 6 hours in 3 nights, or was it 4 nights and 8 hours?!  Numbers kind of just blur rignt now.  Nothing I took is even off the camera yet, lol.  The good news is Della, our pro-photographer got her pics up might quick!  Several Chargers, 66-74 all accounted for.

I was honestly so busy on the "paperwork" end of the show my only walk thru the rows was to hand out dash plaques  :'(  We had an awesome turnout...I'm currently working on getting solid numbers, I've been told 114, 132, and 140+...I'll do my best to figure it out.

I will have the video up as soon as  I can as well as the winners and pics...There were (3) 2nd Gen Chargers taking home awards, I'm only directly responsible for 1 of them winning though  :D  I don't know if Drew (72 Charger out of OKC area) is on here, but if not I really wanted to talk to you...didn't actually talk to anyone outside of registration/voting stuff.  Filter your way through the pages, should be a few ya'll will enjoy:

Edit: Finally got to work the multimedia end...wanted to get the winner pics up.  Trust me, just follow the link for a lot more.  Ya'll should be pretty happy with the # of Chargers winning  :yesnod:

Excellent stuff TexasStroker, well done, looks like all the bases were covered from late model thru to 300G, Fury , Warlock and  Chargers and commercial old delivery vans as well, very cool.
Its great to put on shows or cruises that Families or Lone Wolf types really enjoy and you can bet they'll mark it on their calendar for next year.

Have a cold one on me  :icon_smile_big:

Thanks Bob, there really is something for everyone!  I've already warned folks that if a primered Duster shows up with a tunnel ram sticking out the hood it will take home the Founder's Pick award...the sad thing is I don't think if the out-of-town crowd know I'm serious   Since we expanded the award field, I selected the 70 Charger R/T...

Last year we had several 20s-30s Rods.  This year our oldest was the 47 truck...had everything from restos, modifieds, show cars, race cars, Vipers, trucks, you name it.  We do things different than most and somehow it seems to work out pretty well.

Once I get this number stuff wrapped up I'll have the videos up, they should be pretty cool  :2thumbs:

Looks like the weather co-operated and everyone had a great time at the show. Really nice pics and a wonderful show. I know you put a lot of work into this show and it definitely shows!!  Congrats again and hope to make it up there soon.

Thanks guys, this really is a lot of fun...we are already working on improvements for next year.  I've got grass to cut tonight and then some background for an article, but I'll get the video going soon.  I'll also post up some regular member's photobuckets accounts.

Anyone that wants to come is welcome...This is where I would also be willing to host a dedicated Charger meet if anyone is so inclined.  The park eats this stuff up and are very easy to work with.  I'll at least try and get the winners up here, I hate not having actual pictures in the thread...just no time yet.

I was also really sad bc Thursday night I left work to wash the Charger...fired it up and noticed a stream that led to a lake...Haven't gotten to diagonis it, but I think the ethanol ate the seal in my fuel filter  :'(  I was able to put a rag on it and wash it in hopes of "fixing it" Friday night, but that was a pipe-dream.  Granted, I didn't get to register my own car till about 3/5 thru the show, let alone pop the hood or talk to folks so I guess it wasn't too bad.  Sure would have been nice to get a shot by the Daytona though.  We nearly had 2 69 Charger 500s...maybe next year.

More to come soon...

So I'm scanning through the forum subject lines and I have to do a double take. Thought it read "Cristy Canyon Pics"...

There's something really wrong with me.
"I can fix it... my old man is a television repairman... he's got the ultimate set of tools... I can fix it."

Definitely a fun day...can't wait for next year!  I'll be the idiot that has the CIC IV flyer up about 340 calendar days early

You prob need more sleep, I read a lot of strang things on the forums when I'm sleep deprived too.

I just added the "winner" pics...there is much more in store.  We kind of had to wing the awards on RSVPs...I had no clue we'd have as many A-bodies as we did.  The muscle era Mopars we had were top notch.  Also netted about 40+ late model Chally's, hence the extra awards.  I'd love to have reason to buy 4-5 plaques just for Chargers  ;D

The background stuff is done, the article for the local magazine is wrapped up, and I can now begin the downhill video.  I shot one from the tripod with a GoPro and another from my knees with my camera, tried to follow the cars with it...that seems to never work out well, but I countinue to try it.  I'll get them up as soon as I can.
