...could've been worse - imagine having a seller call and hound you, calling you names because you wouldn't give them their asking price for a rusty, misrepresented, POS  ::)

Or being chased down their driveway when you refused to buy their POS at any price...  :yesnod:

The holes in their roof and busted front door to the house should have been a clue that I was not dealing with a normal person

I've got stories...  :Twocents:

Price Class:   Special   S
Body Type:   2 door sports hardtop   29
Engine:   440ci V8 4bbl HP (RB motor)   L

Finally got a chance to go look at this Charger today. The car is complete, But it is a complete hunk of rust It needs floors, trunk, 4 frame rails, torsion mounts, doors, fenders inner fenders and every panel replaced. The only good pieces of metal are the hood and roof. It does have some cool options but the fender tag is gone. They said the motor does run. I had no idea what to offer them. It is way past any of my skills.
I pointed to two old drunks sitting across the bar from us and told my friend
"That's us in 10 years".
He said "That's a mirror, dip-shit!

Buy it and part it out.

I need the engine.

(If it's a '69 hp engine)

The only thing on the engine I could find said E 440 no HP stamp.

The VIN on the engine would tell you if it was original to the car, but with all four frame rails rusted out, it might be risky business to crawl under there. :eek2:

Any idea what it may be worth? How much value being a R/T add to it? There is a lot of good parts on it or in it. Its very similar to the rotted out R/T on ebay that has a thread going on about it.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.  :2thumbs:

I'd offer $1,000 but go as high as $1,500.

I don't want to get caught in the middle of someones  problems.

Too late, you are now knee deep in their problem.

Choices: a three way, a shotgun, or buy it in the divorce settlement.

:popcrn:

Sorry, having a beavis & butthead momonet.......you said "three way" in regards to getting a 69..hehe.hehe..hehehe!    :icon_smile_big: :smilielol:

On my way to pick up the Charger. So far everything has gone nice and smooth, but I will be glad to get it out of there.  :2thumbs:

I don't think it could get much worse. I already took it to a restoration shop and there price wasn't as bad as I thought. Not sure if I can afford it though so it might set around and be a parts car even though I would like to save it.

She said he was out of town working. So it was quick grab and go.

28k to make it a turn key car. Considering the condition I didn't think that was to bad. That would be back to its original Bronze color w/black vinyl top and tan interior.
