whats the plans for the bumpers?

We tucked the bumpers into the body and got rid of the filler strip. (it has some specific name I cant remember now)
Now its on to sectioning them in about 2" and then contour to the fenders. Pinned, chromed, and viola' .. 

sounds great. i like the tucked in look.

  :2thumbs:that \6 is looking great and the bumper trick and treats will make a world of difference ... bumpers are the big no no factor as you get mid 70es mopars. they stick out to far and wide and all that filler rubber&plastic junk between the body and bump.  well great work and dieing to see color and finish.dj

Ok, ok... FINALLY got this thing back into the shop. Prepped, sprayed, cut, and buffed in 4 days. Not too shabby when you have a real job going on. I think you will find it to be the straightest A body on the known world. Next will be the black hood and around the door treatments, then the bumpers, wing and side stripe...and the front wheels of course.

edit: I will add, these bumpers arent quite fit yet. And the grille needs finishing, but... you guys get the idea.. The wheels are ready too, just needn' some smaller tires. If anyone wants some purple steelies, let me know..

Oddly enough, its loud az hell! I never knew the /6 could be so loud. It has an import flair, just something off an 8. Currently shopping for a turbo... Tomorrow ordering the T/A mufflers and exit pipes for the AAR exhaust. I also have a glass AAR hood we're considering chopping up to complete this project. Heard rumors of an aluminum 3 valve head in development too so looking into that as well..
