I would say no since it's more than likely from the street department.

Ya, they're probably auto.  What made me wonder was the proximity to the lake, police contact, and marine engines just like to pop up in pairs (and frequently in crates  (unfinished restos))

A mate of mine told me of a guy he knows who found and brought back 26x early 392 Hemi's from Argentina a few years ago, apparently they were part of some long disused irrigation project with a really long pipeline and remote starter packs connected to telephone wires.
It has some basis in fact with my mate and does'nt appear to be one of those urban myths. What a find though
Sounds like some of them are going into local Hotrods and the like
