It's his real name.  For some odd reason, he likes to add it to the end of all his posts.

Also, I don't think that Canadians should count, since they are (to quote a T shirt):  Just unarmed Americans.  With healthcare. :P
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

I'm from Kentucky does that count? We talk kind of funny. :icon_smile_big:

You have mentioned me 96dacia so here I am. If you get your dream car one day we could meet each other some day.

I was at a car show in scotland last year talking to a guy about the car when he said "this is the first time I've ever seen one in the flesh" with perfect timing a '68 pulled in behind him, I pointed and said "that'll be the second then" ;D

Doc74

Belgian here, like CB and Mr Bungle (sp?) but I haven't seen him around lately.

Actually me and CB live about 10 miles apart, Mr B that's a whopping 50 or so !  :icon_smile_big:

Soon enough you'll have to take me off the list tho', I'm moving to Michigan so I'll be an export European  :D

Nacho-RT74

COKE is from Spain.. there is three members more from Venezuela that were on the Old Board...
Megatrash.
Johny_acosta.
michelle73charger.

Of all those three Venezuelan Members only one I think is actually ON BOARD... Johny_acosta. I known them personally all, even  megatrash is from another different city what is around 1100 Km from Caracas.

There was also some member from Chile and Brazil, both with brazilians Chargers but that was on the old board

Soon will be in Spain

I always wondered why there is relatively more old American cars in Scandinavia, compared to other European countries. Without a doubt, there are most of them in Sweden, but Finland and Norway are pretty close. Strange indeed... does anyone have an explanation ??? ???

My theory is that its so cold and dark here, that we really have to make the best out of our short summer...   :icon_smile_cool:   or maybe we are just a little bit strange isolated bunch of non-"european compilant" ogres. ...  :o ;D

I think that the northern countries are reacher than the south-east countries, and thats why they afford to buy a 30 years old car at the price of a brand new one.

I don't think its all about money. They make a pretty good living in central European countries, but there is still a huge difference in amount of old American cars.  Must be something else...

96dacia

Dont know what is it but it is something for shore. I cant beleve that there is nobody from France, Italy or Germany.

Jon Smith

might be because more people speak english in the northern EU countries
most of the cars from france that come to the euronationals seem to be e bodies, there was a french 73 that ran 11s
i've seen a few german chargers

I think it is something deeper. In sweden they had those fearsome "raggares" (rockabilly rebels) during the fifties, and Finns followed during sixties. I haven't heard of such a noticeable sub-culture been build around this hobby in other European countries.

mopar euronationals is in england at the end of july

there are also events in france and germany but i dont know when they are
I'd be surprised if sweden, finland etc... dont have something as well

In Västerås, Sweden is quite big meeting. They claim it is biggest in a world. I don't know, but it is big meet indeed. Been there twice.

In Forssa, Finland the Pick-Nick meeting is biggest in Finland. It claims to be biggest one day happening in scandinavia. Been there many times...  ;D

There are many more, but I think those are the biggest ones in Sweden and Finland.

Shipped a '70 R/T over from Tennessee a couple of years ago - and got a lot of help and advice from the guys on here over on the old forum site.  This is my first post on this new forum - but I keep logging in to keep an eye on the Chics on Chargers thread :)  And that awesome chic with the tartan skirt on another thread!

Cheers, Timbo
