Ok to remove both full quarters and transport bare shell to be blasted? Or take one side off then make another trip to blasters later? Thanks in advance

if its the complete quarter being removed , factory seam / join etc  hmmm maybe ok  ,  what about rear tail light panel !! would be easy for someone to lean on it & push it out of alignment  :scratchchin: although not a biggie to sort out !!

Tail light panel is gone as is the rear valance

I would think that if the trunk floor is still in and welded to the frame rails and wheel wells that it would be pretty solid still. Worse case weld up a couple supports from the trunk floor/frame rail up to the package tray area.

I would have left the tailpanel and skinned the quarters, have blasted, then remove the remaining metal one side at a time and replace the panels. It is better to have them blast some metal that will gut cut off for better alignment down the road.
