How many here have a Charger and what shape is it in?

I always wondered about this and now that I have a Charger once more I can bragg about it.  

But seriously,  how many members here have a Charger, what year and what overal condition is it in?

For those who found and bought their dream ride, was it all you expected?  More?  Less?  Any surprises you did not anticipate?

For those who want to get one in the future, what makes the Charger the car for you?  What are your intentions with it?



This is my thrid Charger, first was a 68 driver, then a 69 basket case, which I actually never ever saw in person, and now another 69 in good daily driver shape.  I expected a car with issues I could work on while driving it, I'm happy to say it doesn't have nearly the issues I anticipated but it's early yet.      Actually the only real problem it has is the rear axle and that's my own fault!

Is that the dark blue Charger on steroids?  That's one mean looking ride!

69 Charger Daytona clone, 440/727 built from a triple black RT/SE, by Larry Roper.  I think the real question should be how many here own just one.  They are kinda like Lays potato chips  I am down to one charger for the first time in a long time.

I have several; in various states of roadworthiness but everything that isn't a parts car is driveable, oh yeah, except the one future restoration project.  That one is in the "rounding up parts to restore" stage before anything happens to it.

I have a 67. It is a older restoration well kept.Every year I try to redo or upgrade a couple of things during winter.

Have a 1970, SE 383, Auto on Column, factory red/red interior no Vinyl Top, Charger that was missing EVERYTHING including but not limited to the wiring harness when I bought it. I turned it into a General Lee of 1969 Vintage.

Recently picked up a 69 RT, Q5, black interior/top, console 727, AC.... It is my first and currently 3x9. It's not perfect but it seems to be a reliable driver and looks good. I drive it when ever I get the chance and it always makes my day! I am super happy to own such a car and am already talking about getting my next Mopar! (4spd, 70 Cuda/68 Charger) Wife likes the one I have but gives me the hairy eyeball when I start talking about #2.    I seriously wish I could retire now and spend lots of time tinkering.

67 383 4 spd that followed me home 21 years ago. Drove to Carlisle and back without so much as a hiccup  Got 16 mpg too! Well, 15.7, close enuff!

Mine is a 69 R/T that is an older resto. I ended up taking some of it apart to do a mini resto in order to clean it up a bit. Looking forward to finishing it and being able to enjoy it.

Mine is a unrestored, stone reliable driver! I consider it a survivor. You can give your opinion on that. (perhaps I'll start a thread).

It's a '73 F1 pale green charger rallye. 340/727/8 3/4 3.55's Original paint, decals, halo top, interior right down to the A.M. radio. It's a magnum 500 wheel car. The original raised white letter pollyglass spair is in the trunk.
