generator bearings noisey

hey guys anybody rebuilt there generator on here and replaced the bearings,cannot seem to get the pulley off :eek2:
I don't care what is is designed to do,I want to know what it can do.

hi plumbcrazy so the pulley is just pressed onto the shaft nothing special eh :2thumbs:

That pulley will usually destroy a mopar pulley. My advice - get it rebuilt.

That is the same tool as Chrysler's C-4068 pulley removal tool that I've used for decades.  It's pictured in the factory service manual.

I guess mine was on tighter - I used it once and the pulley was shrapnel.

I think auto electric rebuilders use a press.
