Hands down, one of the best world series games' I've seen.

Texas was 4 outs, then 3 outs away from their 1st title & one of the best reliever's in baseball blew it.

I'm on Texas' bandwagon, only because they've never won one.

What the hell got into C. Carpenter.  I drafted him in several of my fantasy teams & dropped him halfway into the season cause he sucked.  And no one picked him up...

Absolutely one of the top 10 World Series games I've ever watched. I'm looking forward to tonight's game.

Well shit.  I'm a die hard Chiefs fan so it's pretty easy for me to hope that next year is better for Texas.  It was their own fault, all they needed was 3 outs.

Congrats to the Cardinals.   :2thumbs:

Congratulations to St. Louis Cardinals (our favorite neighbor) in winning the "world series".   ;D :icon_smile_big:  (although the world did not participate)...Just the lower 48 states here in North America.  Why do they call it the " WORLD SERIES " ? It should be called the U.S. Series.  :Twocents:

Drove the Rangers Owners to their plane after game 7 REALLY quiet group, felt sorry for them, not much I could say that wouldn't sound condescending.

nvrbdn

you could have said,"im sorry for your loss, but look at it this way, at least the home team and crowd is cheering" when ever i watch a final anything its more fun to see the home crowd going crazy. when a team wins on the road, the only ones partying are the players. :2thumbs: so to the ranger fans, at least you can say 2 years in a row you are at the top of the american league. and this year put on a show that combined will be one of the greatest world series' ever :2thumbs:

im not sure about albert, hate to see the team dismantle. it seems every time a team wins all the other teams want their players :shruggy: we wernt that good up till september. and it took a melt down of atlanta to get in. plus philly played atlanta in the last 3 games with their starters instead of resting them. but still everyone wants our players.

Albert is going to try the waters just to see what he is offered.  We did not pick up the options on several players leaving $ available for Albert.

That's the problem.  I may be wrong but I don't think St. Louis has the money to build a team around Albert.  Berkman & Holliday are nice complimentary players.  I don't remember Berkman ever being this good, he wasn't last year in the American League.  But Freese, good gravy.  The TV promo was right, legends are born in October.  My opinion's prolly junk anyways & SL may already have the players around Albert to make it work, play good enough to get them in & turn it on in the post season?   :shruggy:
Surprised to see Tony retire but there's no better time to do it.   :Twocents:

I tend to root for the teams that are winning with the low payrolls, like Tampa Bay & the Brewers.  The other Missouri team is still my favorite MLB team, I'm willing to bet they'll field a winning team (over .500) next season.
