My front orig. front seat drivers seat cover was torn in the usual place and rather than have it repaired
I ordered a set from Legendary. Also i need to mention the the passenger side is pristine. Originally
I was just going to replace the driver side but I noticed that the color match is off a couple shades so
I replaced them both.

Now I'm having second thoughts and thinking of repairing the drivers side and putting them both back on.
The color match on the dark green fro 68 is off enough to where its noticeable for me and my orig. seat cover really aint that bad.
Is it possible to remove the pleats and put new material back in? Am I being to anal or would it be best to keep it as origanal as possible even if its not "new" looking???

Maybe try sending a piece to them and see if they can match it up?

I'm the same way..........glad to know I'm not the only one. Things like this will eat at me until I make it right. The wife says I'm a problem. :shruggy:

I think a good trim shop can repair your cover no problem. Getting new material to match is another thing. Go and see what they can do for you...

yes they can take the whole cover appart seam by seam &  put new / replace parts/ sections as required  , could place a wanted ad ,  for any original covers that someone has just removed to put new covers on !!  take those along with yours  to & trim shop  , put a wanted ad up on the general lee sites  :scratchchin:  that mob are always changing thier original interior to tan , might get a real good rear seat to use or something :scratchchin:
