I took the pump for the windshield cleaner fluid apart because it was leaking and I did not
pay attention to where the ground wire was connected? I know where it connect to the chassie
but not to the pump? Any suggestions??

Pretty sure it uses a bolt for the washer bottle.

Yes, this is true but where does it connect to the pump itself??

if you cant see two male  spade terminals on the pump ! see picture on the new  mopar replacement pump , you must have the original  :scratchchin:

cant remember  for sure  but think  the original  windshied washer pumps , have a  ground wire that actually goes inside either in the plastic part or between the metal motor housing & the plastic part , sort of sealed in , so the ground wire is just hanging out the pump !  type of thing with , a ring terminal on the end   ,
but i might be getting confused ? mixed up  or thinking of something else ,  :slap:    will dig out  &  :scratchchin:  check my original pump later  ,  :yesnod:

this is my original

I tried grounding it to the outside of the pump and it would not work. Only works if I ground it in between the pump and housing.

gtx6970

There is 2 rivets ataching all the pieces of the pump together.

the ground on originals uses one of those rivets

Does it matter if it in between the pump and the housing, on the pump or on the housing???
